Leen De Graeve (BE) is a Brussels-based artist whose work expands the borders of the self. She explores the limits of public intimacy. She graduated from RITS (Brussels) as a theatre director. She developed her skills in intimate and sensitive theatre by working and performing with Louise Chardon, Andwhatbesidesdeath and Sidney Leonie. With theatre company zie!duif she made the prize-winning performance ‘Stockholm’. This theatre company excels in its affinity with text and the exploration of different approaches to the audience. Leen gave workshops at several theatre companies (tg Elektra, Youngsters on Stage, etc.). She also writes theatre plays (‘Kind van de Mast’, ‘Red Star Line’, ‘Coninckplein’, ‘Living Expo’, …) and short stories ('Het been' was published in De Revisor, Amsterdam).
