For the graduation performance of Leen De Graeve seven young women met each other, clashed and mashed. They grew up thousands miles from each other, but are now living together in Brussels. Does their past matter? Does it matter which one comes from Palestine, the Netherlands, Greece, Belgium or Hungary? Or is it more important where they’re going, alone/together? They found inspiration for discussions and dance in ‘The Congress’, a short story of Borges, folksongs and –dances and the Belgian pension fund.
